How often do we charge our mobile phone in a day?
The British company has developed an Intelligent Energy
hydrogen battery that let you use your smartphone for a week without
recharging. The prototype, which was installed on an iPhone 6 is a
rechargeable battery that generates electricity by combining hydrogen and
oxygen, whose waste is a small amount of water and some heat, which are issued
by small holes that release steam water.
Moreover, its dimensions are much lower compared with the
current hydrogen fuel cells. This stack gas can be filled through a terminal
adapter, as if it were a traditional mains charger through an adapter through
the headphone jack, which would have a direct opening to the tank.
Using a special dispenser, mention; anyone could recharge the battery without the need for complex processes, the Intelligent Energy CEO, Henri Winand.
The company hopes to work closely with Apple, introducing the
grading system world first, to achieve not alter the size or shape of the device,
except the imperceptible rear openings that allow small amounts of water vapor
generated can escape. However, so far Apple has not commented on this
innovative proposal.
As far as I know, never had been created
something, he added. Certainly a significant advance which aims to step forward in
battery development, the challenge now will Intelligent Energy security, as
batteries emit water vapor and heat, two very harmful elements for an
electronic device, a quality to be of overcome before starting their
outstanding innovation marketing.
